Welcome to "Visual Archive" (hereinafter referred to as "this app" or "we"). We understand the importance of privacy regarding personal item data and photos, which is why we prioritize "absolute privacy protection" as a core principle of our product design.
This Privacy Policy is intended to clearly and transparently explain how this App handles your data.
1. Core Commitment: We Do Not Collect Your Personal Data
"Visual Archive" is a purely utilitarian app. We do not have, nor will we ever establish, any third-party servers for storing users’ personal item data, photos, or text data. All item profiles, categorization information, and images you create within the app remain entirely under your control.
2. Use of Camera and Photo Library Permissions
To allow you to create visual records of your items, this app requests access to your device’s camera and photo library:
- Purpose: Used solely for taking photos of items within the app or importing item photos from your photo library.
- Local Processing: Our signature “Smart Subject Extraction (Image Masking)” feature operates entirely offline using on-device AI capabilities. Your photos will never be uploaded to the cloud for any AI processing or analysis.
3. Data Storage and iCloud Sync
- Local Storage: By default, all your data is securely stored locally on your device.
- iCloud Sync: If you are a paid Premium member, this app automatically uses Apple’s official technology to sync data across your personal Apple devices (such as iPhone and iPad). This data is protected by the highest level of encryption associated with your personal Apple ID, and we (the developers) have no permission to access, view, or modify your data in iCloud.
4. About “Premium” In-App Purchases and Financial Information
This app offers a non-consumable (one-time purchase) in-app purchase called " Premium " to unlock advanced features.
- All payment processing, order management, and refunds are handled directly by Apple’s App Store.
- We do not collect, access, or store any of your credit card information, billing address, or other financial data. We only receive an anonymous purchase status token from Apple’s system to confirm whether you have unlocked Premium benefits.
5. Third-Party Tracking and Advertising
- Ad-Free: This app is committed to remaining free of any form of third-party advertising.
- No Behavioral Tracking: We do not use any third-party ad tracking SDKs, do not track your behavior across apps, and do not sell any of your information to third-party data brokers.
